...'Open primaries are not unconstitutional'<br />Um...I don't think any sort of party primaries could possibly be unconstitutional. I am pretty sure that parties are not even mentioned in the constitution. Nor should they have been.<br />They are private organizations (like grocery stores) and have the right to pick their candidates (or checkout clerks) however they wish. <br />However, I agree with Will that the primaries are not rigged. Chaotic and confusing maybe but definitely not rigged. Unless you consider a complex procedure is rigged against simple minds.<br />‘The number of words in Atlas Shrugged is 645,000.
