It's about that time again....

$ 27,662.46

That's what this calculator of "blog worth" says Gus Van Horn is worth, anyway. (HT: Jennifer Snow)

Months ago, I saw, via sitemeter, a hit from that very site. I followed the link to discover that someone had, apparently, calculated my blog's "worth" to be zero point zero zero American dollars.

By the way, Blogshares pegs my blog's worth at almost the same figure: $27,175.37.

Yeah, sure. Whatever you say.

Malkin makes a good point, but ....

Yesterday, I spotted this Michelle Malkin column over at Jewish World Review that makes the alarming observation that some conservatives who favor the Dubai Ports World deal are attempting to brand their opponents as hatemongers.

Today, I must express bottomless disgust with those on the Right who have turned into mush-mouthed race-card players to shift blame away from President Bush for his miserable mishandling of the situation.

...

Conservative commentator Larry Kudlow: "This whole brouhaha surrounding the Bush administration's green-light to a United Arab Emirates company slated to manage six major U.S. ports has nothing to do with protecting homeland security. Allow me to give it its proper name: Islamophobia."
The use of the term "Islamophobia" to quash opposition is especially alarming coming from the right, just after Christopher Hitchens warned (HT: Cox and Forkum) of it likely coming from the left or the Moslem world.

I would applaud Malkin's indignation at the adoption, by the right, of multiculturalism, but for the fact that she could stand to be more consistent in rejecting multiculturalism herself, particularly with respect to "hate crimes" legislation.
