Leftist Thugs Should Be Condemned

I almost never agree with Pat Buchanan, but I must say he is right to call for Bernie Sanders to condemn the recent thuggery on the part of some of his supporters that caused a rally for Donald Trump to be canceled:

If Sanders refuses, he condones it, and is morally complicit.

Can one imagine how the media would pile on Trump if working-class white males in Trump T-shirts invaded a Hillary Clinton rally and shut it down?

Can one imagine how the networks and cable TV channels that host town halls with the candidates would react if hell-raisers sneaked into their audiences and shouted obscenities during discussions?

The keening over the First Amendment would not cease for weeks.

Buchanan is also right to condemn the other GOP candidates for basically blaming this orchestrated, terroristic attack on ... Donald Trump. Buchanan should have gone further: That shameful accusation is no different than the one leftists frequently level at those victims of Islamic terrorism known to have exercised their freedom of speech before being attacked.

I do not support Donald Trump, but even loutish wanna-be dictators have rights.
